Melalui blog resminya, Jumat (30/12/2022), Gillen McAllister, Senior Specialist, Content Communication, SIE menyebutkan, pemenang dari 16 kategori yang ada di penghargaan ini, ditentukan oleh para gamer.
Dalam penghargaan ini, judul terbaru dari seri God of War, God of War Ragnarok, menyabet banyak depo 10k penghargaan dari berbagai kategori termasuk PS4 Game of the Year dan PS5 Game of The Year.
Di kedua kategori Game of The Year (GOTY) tersebut, God of War Ragnarok mengalahkan sederet judul seperti Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, dan Stray.
